No matter how long you are planning to stay in Italy, setting your feet on Capri for at least a day of exploring is an absolute must. No other island captures the essence of the Mediterranean so candidly so close to the Italian mainland. Whether traveling from Rome or Naples, you will feel miles away from the real world as your senses are enchanted by the uniqueness of this veritable jewel.
For many, visiting Capri means taking the ferry over and wandering the alleys of Capri Town. However, this is only a small portion of what this paradise offers, and venturing off the beaten path offers you a true glimpse into its wondrous secrets and evocative scenery. First, you need to go to both towns, Capri and Anacapri, to experience what the island is really all about.
From the neon azure waters of the Blue Grotto sea cave (only reachable by row-boat) to local limoncello, a liqueur made from the island’s succulent lemons, Capri offers natural wonders and authentic tastes in addition to one of the world’s oldest perfumes at the Carthusia Perfumery, in operation since 1380. Join us on this mission of discovery.
