Want to experience all the very best Mayan ruins while here in Mexico? This tour allows you to see two of the finest and most important archaeological sites in Cancun - Chichen Itza and Tulum are just waiting to be explored. There is enough to satisfy your curiosity when it comes to the fascinating Mayan culture! You’ll book the tours over two separate days of your choice, meaning there is flexibility to enjoy your vacation your way. And what’s more, round-trip transportation and lunch are included on both days!

Your first day will be a guided tour of Chichen Itza. This is probably the most famous site in terms of Mayan ruins, and one that can’t be missed! Your guide will show you the highlights: the different temples, the breathtaking pyramid, the Main Ball Court and the tomb of the High Priest. There is so much to see here, and it gives an incredible insight into this ancient culture - you’ll truly be walking in the footsteps of these amazing people. Listen as your guide fills in the blanks and shares anecdotes, bringing history to life in front of you.

On this day you’ll also visit the ancient Saamal cenote. If you’ve never seen a cenote before then prepare to have your mind blown - these underwater sinkholes look like something straight out of a fantasy movie, with their streams of twinkling light and crystal-clear water. Saamal is particularly stunning, and you can simply admire the view or take the opportunity to dive in, cool off and feel a bit of the magic for yourself… You’ll enjoy a buffet lunch after visiting the cenote, before being dropped back at your hotel!

Skip a day in between or do both consecutively - the choice is yours, meaning you can spend every minute of your vacation doing exactly what you want to do. But whenever you do it, the second part of this tour is just as good as the first. With round-trip transportation included, you’ll head to Tulum. First of all it’s the lost city of Coba, deep in the jungle and home to the largest pyramid on the peninsula, Nohoch Mul. This well-preserved city, surrounded by lush greenery, is such a beautiful location: don’t forget your camera!

From there your guide will take you to another cenote. If you weren’t brave enough to dive in on the first day of this tour, maybe now will be your time - and if you did do it on day one, you’ll definitely be eager to repeat the magical experience. It gets hot and humid in the jungle, so this is the perfect way to refresh yourself after all the exploring. You’ll end the tour with a delicious buffet lunch before heading back to your hotel, full of the wonders of the ancient Maya civilization.
