From the rich colors of the Sistine Chapel to the gilded ceiling of the Gallery of Maps, the Vatican Museums are filled to the brim with artistic treasures. There's so much to see and experience that it's important to have an expert to guide you so you don't waste any time. As 1 of only 3 Official Vatican Museums Partners, you can trust that we know our stuff. And in addition to being pros in all things Vatican, this partnership grants us access to an exclusive partner entrance, meaning you'll get to skip the notoriously long lines to enter immediately.
Once inside, we follow a carefully planned route through the Museums, visiting the most famous locations such as the Sistine Chapel and the Raphael Rooms, plus a wide variety of galleries full of ancient sculptures, tapestries, medieval maps, paintings, and precious relics.
As you travel, your expert, licensed guide will teach you about not just the pieces you see but the stories behind them and the Vatican itself. You’ll learn about the little details in Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel frescos – such as the painful punishments he painted for his enemies and his own personal message to the Pope. You’ll also learn about the characters that walked these corridors before you as artists, Cardinals and Popes and the dramas that unfolded here.
With Skip the Line Access, we’ll gain entry directly from the Sistine Chapel to St. Peter’s Basilica, so you can visit the stunning masterpieces held within. Here, you will see Michelangelo’s ‘Pieta’, the church’s incredible altar and impressive dome – the construction of which threatened to rip the church in two.
Traveling in small groups of only 20 people or less and with audio headsets, your tour will be intimate and your guide easy to interact with (but hard to lose). Our Vatican Museum tours also include No Wait Access, saving you hours of waiting in line on busy days – so your Vatican visit will be as enjoyable and hassle free as possible.
Once you’ve toured the Sistine Chapel, get an in-depth look at its creation during The Last Judgement theater show. This one-hour performance uses live action, music, dance and immersive 270° projections to depict the stories behind the artwork, including the commission of both pieces and a look into Michelangelo’s life at the time of their creation.
From Marco Balich, the artistic director of several Olympic Opening Ceremonies and with music composed by the legendary Sting, this spectacular show is sure to be captivating for all audiences. To top it all off, we’ve reserved only central tickets for you, so you are guaranteed to enjoy the show from the best seats in the house. View the show trailer below:
